Picsta, explained in short walkthroughs

Picsta has four building blocks — Your Events, Shared Events, Group Events and Albums. Here's a quick video for each, plus a simple guide to which one you need.

Which one do I need?

Your Events

A private gallery you create and own. Upload photos, share one link, guests find themselves with a selfie.

You're the host

Shared Events

An event someone shared with you. Find your photos with a selfie and save your own copy to your dashboard.

You're a guest

Group Events

One shared gallery many people add photos to. Faces cluster across everyone; each member keeps a personal copy + reel.

Everyone contributes

Albums

A curated flip-through photo book you design or auto-curate from any photos, then share or export as a PDF.

A keepsake to present

Your Events

Events you create and own. Upload your photos, let Picsta detect faces and index everything for search, then share the gallery with a single link — guests find the photos they're in with a selfie.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between an event and a group event?

In a normal event, you're the host: you upload the photos and share the gallery. In a group event, many people contribute their photos into one shared gallery, faces cluster across everyone's uploads, and each member keeps their own personalised copy — ideal when several people shot the same occasion.

What's a shared event?

A shared event is one that someone else created and shared with you by link. You open it, tap Find Me to pull out the photos you're in with a selfie, and save your own personalised copy to your dashboard.

How is an album different from an event?

An event is a gallery of everyone's photos from an occasion. An album is a curated keepsake — a flip-through photo book you design (or auto-curate) from a selection of photos, then share as a book or export as a PDF.

Can I make a highlight reel from any of these?

Yes. Events, group events and albums can each be turned into a vertical, music-backed highlight reel to share to Instagram, WhatsApp and Stories. Find them all in the Reels tab on your dashboard.
